CRF Web Focus: Iraq

With events moving ever closer to a climax in Iraq, students, teachers, and other citizens need access to information in order to make informed decisions. In response, the Constitutional Rights Foundation in Los Angeles has put together "CRF Web Focus: Iraq," a tremendous on-line resource filled with useful and up-to-date information from many viewpoints.

The site includes links to:

  • The Journalist's Toolbox, which features more than 17,000 web sites helpful to the media and anyone else doing research.
  • The University of Michigan Documents Center, which lists links about chemical and biological warfare, economic sanctions, military issues, America's war against terrorism, Middle East conflicts, weapons of mass destruction and much more
  • The Joyner Library, which provides access to research databases and electronic journals about many topics including Saddam Hussein and Iraq.
  • "Intervention in Iraq? The U.S. debates whether to oust Saddam Hussein," a PBS site which includes reports, interviews, and debates.
  • "Iraq Update," which is maintained by the U.S. Department of State.
