The Pennsylvania Youth for Justice Initiative will strengthen its work across the Commonwealth in cooperation with the Claude Pepper Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta at the Widener University School of Law-Harrisburg (Widener/PAD) through implementation of the Finding Their Voice (FTV) Project in 2003-2004. The initiative will build on the partnership among Widener/PAD, the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), and LEAP-Kids that brought quality law-related and civic education (LRE) to Harrisburg area schools in 2002-2003. The FTV initiative is designed to build on programs offered by the PBA and LEAP-Kids by having law students from Widener and other PAD chapters at all seven Pennsylvania law schools come to Harrisburg for a fall 2003 conference to learn about how to establish and expand a LRE outreach initiative.
